Carnaval in Kruikenstad

It's almost here! Carnaval in Tilburg, a.k.a. Kruikenstad is approaching and we have the best tips for your carnaval program! Suitable for both experienced 'Kruiken' and newcomers, who want to know where you can experience the best carnaval experience as a Student in Tilburg.

Thursday february 16

Carnaval may not have officially started yet, but for the real fanatics, there is already plenty to do on Thursday to warm up in advance. Where exactly? Well, at the university for example! As part of the anniversary year of Tilburg University, the university organizes parties for students and employees under the heading '95 minutes of music.' This means 95 minutes of fun, with this time a performance by carnaval sensations Veul Gère and DJ Coenio. They will undoubtedly provide you with a great start to your carnaval week!

If you still feel like going on afterwards, take a look at the open carnaval party of T.S.C. Olof. With performances by Buren van de Brandweer and CV MSVDBFK, among others, this promises to be another good party!

Friday february 17

Dj's, performances, fries and snacks! Does this sound like music to your ears? Then kick off your carnaval weekend at the wagon of Stoom013. From Friday afternoon 16:00 you can enjoy all the fried goodies, and a great program full of music. The perfect start for your carnaval weekend!

Are you looking for an alternative to carnaval music, hoempapa and 'polonaises?' Then Club Smederij is the place to be on Friday night for a real Carnaval rave. So if you prefer dancing to techno, house, disco or italo, this is the party for you.

Saturday february 18

Time to welcome Prince Carnaval to Kruikenstad! Round up your friends and gather at the train station Saturday afternoon for the one and only 'inhaol' of the Prince. There is plenty to do throughout the city center on Saturday to experience the real Tilburg carnaval atmosphere.

In the evening you will find an alternative to the traditional carnaval at Kernafval in the Hall of Fame. The carnaval party that has rather little to do with carnaval music, according to the organizers themselves.

Sunday February 19

On Sunday it's time for 'd'n Opstoet!' A carnaval parade right through the center of Kruikenstad. You don't want to miss it!

You can also enjoy the open party of T.S.V. Plato. From 12:00 the doors of the Akademeia club will be open for all carnaval lovers. Be sure to arrive on time, because full = full!

Monday February 20

And we're not done yet! On Monday, the well-known Kongsi carnaval is on the program. The biggest student carnaval party in the Netherlands! Students from all over the Netherlands gather on Koningsplein on Monday afternoon to go crazy together. With performances by the Lawineboys and Kafke this promises to be another great edition! Didn't get a ticket? All are welcome at the Kongsi afterparty in Café Brandpunt on Monday night!

There is also plenty to do in the center of Tilburg on Monday. For example, move to the Korte Heuvel for the 'Kaajbaandenfist'; old-fashioned carnaval with your friends in the street in front of the pub. Beer, a great atmosphere, music and fun; that's all you need, right?

Tuesday, February 21

After five days of partying in Kruikenstad we can imagine that on Tuesday you mainly want to 'sleep it off'. If you still have the energy to go out for a spin, officially close carnaval together with all the 'Kruiken' during 'Et Sebiet' on the Heuvel. Don't forget your green-orange scarf!
