Jorg, International Business Administration: "What I like about my program is that it's very internationally oriented and that you get a lot of room to develop yourself besides your studies. Furthermore, you receive a fairly general education, so you get something from every pillar in the business world." 

Doga, Psychology: "I think a positive side of psychology is that you get to work with other people and discuss the theory that is learned from the lectures. Also, several times you work with case studies, which prepares you more for the experience of a psychologist in real life." 

Florinne, Law: "I like that you are super versatile and socially involved. Everywhere around you you have to deal with the law, so it is interesting to be a part of that." 

Tijs, Business Economics: "On my course you have a lot of flexibility, you have a lot of freedom in how you want to organize your time and you get the space to combine your studies with other side activities."

 

What is the best thing about being a member of the board?

Nienke, Communication and Information Sciences: "With six other students we organize the TOP Week. It is really great to be able to organize such a super cool week for new students. I get to know a lot of new people."

Jorg, International Business Administration: "It's fun to develop yourself outside of your studies and you ensure that other students can develop themselves through the things you organize."

Tijs, Business Economics: "During your board year you get to know a huge network of motivated students that you get to work with. That's really cool."

 

What are the best parties in Tilburg?


1. Carnival: Three (maybe five) days of partying in Kruikenstad. 

2. TOP Week: introduction week for new students. 

3. Tilburg University Cantus: Largest traditional cantus in the Netherlands.

 

What are the best places in Tilburg according to the administrators? 


1. Korte Heuvel: The bar street of Tilburg. 

2. Spoorpark: City park in the center. Nice in the summer.

Why is Tilburg a great university town?

Doga, Psychology: "You can always communicate in English in Tilburg which makes me feel included. Also you always run into other students. This makes me feel like I am a part of a great group, which is super nice."

Jelle, Master Strategic Management: "Tilburg is not that big, you get to know a lot of people pretty quickly. But it does have the advantages and places of the big city. In addition, there are cool places added throughout the city such as the Spoorpark."

Isa, Psychology: "The many outdoor cafes make it an incredibly cozy student town, where you always run into acquaintances. Tilburg has a very active social life: student associations, sports clubs, study associations, and much more, so there is something for everyone."
