For when you've played out the pub, you can't afford the beer anymore, if you're looking for a little depth in your life or if you want to impress your date or something!

Punch. at de Pont

Museum de Pont is a household name in Tilburg. Modern art in an old textile factory, with cool, surprising and changing exhibitions. And we have good news for all of you poor students: every Thursday evening admission to de Pont is completely free! From 17:00-21:00 you can just go in without pulling out your debit card. This is the perfect opportunity to go and have a look! And it gets even better; every Thursday evening, in addition to a visit to the collection of the Pont, there is an additional program to experience. Under the name PUNCH., something extra is organized every week. How about lectures, live music, DJs or a real pim-pam-pet competition? All cool and all free! Check their program on instagram!

De Krakers

Another Thursday night gem. In the basement of De Nieuwe Vorst, de Krakers host an event every Thursday. From music to literature and from art auctions to live tattoo sessions. Do you fancy a quirky philosophy night or fabulous parties? In the Kraakkelder, it's all possible! Every week a new, surprising and fresh program, and all for a ticket price of only 6 euros! Art on the streets

Besides art in the basements, in Tilburg you can also find of art on the streets! If you know where to go, you'll find plenty of culture out in public spaces. How about the most beautiful mural in the world, for example? But also the Sky Mirror by world-renowned artist Anish Kapoor, City Poetry, historical sculptures or the many street art that our town has. 

"Dikke duo dagen" at Pathé

Flop down in a big, soft chair, add a bowl of popcorn, a movie on the screen and enjoy! Has this become an unaffordable luxury for you? Then Pathé will help you out! On the two days before your DUO is deposited, you benefit from a student discount at Pathé cinemas! You then only pay €5 to go to the movies. This way you can enjoy yourself some cinema, even on the leanest days of the month. In Tilburg you will find two Pathé locations; in the center at the Pieter Vreedeplein and at Stappegoor.
