Discover Tilburg with carnival!
Yes, it's Carnival again! We've been waiting for a while, but this weekend it's finally here again. Tilburg changes into Kruikenstad and everything turns green and orange. The whole city is upside down and there is something to do everywhere. We have made a small list of fun parties for you.
Pub Crawl
The Kroegendwèltocht is a unique event in Brabant. Carnival enthusiasts can go into town on Friday to get a taste of the atmosphere. The aim of the pub crawl is that you can take a look at every pub and have a drink anywhere. The symbol of this pub crawl is the tie. Each participant receives a paper tie and then has it stamped by eleven different pubs. Do you have your card complete? Exchange your tie for a small one that you can pin to your keel. This way everyone can see what a go-getter you are. Participation is free!
Daisy carnival festival
Saturday the whole dome hall is full of dancing partygoers. Daisy Carnival organizes a party here that will be even fatter, fatter and cozier this year than previous years. Rewind and Vunzige Deuntjes come to the rescue and make sure the roof comes off. You can expect the best hits from now and then but with a dirty sauce and an edge of the carnival. They have a lineup you can tell yourself about. There are still some late tickets available, so be quick! The party lasts from 16:00 till 01:00.
Carnival rave 2020
Traditionally, Poppodium 013 trades in 'Hoempapa music' for loud techno for an evening. At 013 there will be a party organized by Suburban Disco. They already organized techno, house- and disco parties but now for the first time, they are coming with the Carnavalsrave. The recipe for previous editions remains the same, but everyone has to come dressed up.
D'n opstoet 2020
Are you a real fan of Carnival? Or would you just like to come to take a look at d'n Opstoet? Throughout the city, nice people are walking, driving beautiful cars, with of course the Prins van de Kruikenstad at the front. The carnival parade goes all over the city. The whole center turns into a large party area. It is not only crowded in the pubs but also along the route people organize parties. The parade starts in Piushaven, along the St. Josephstraat, Korte Heuvel, Heuvelring, Piusplein, Paleisring, Schouwburgring and then goes on to the old market.
Disconnected
On Sunday CV D'r Nèffe and Pablo's Escobar organize a party on the St. Josephstraat. It's already the eleventh edition and it promises to be even more fun than previous years. What can you expect? Lots of fun, cold beer, lots of music, in short; carnival with a hint of this and that. They have invited many artists who will make sure that you can't standstill.
