Online Culture Night 2020
The (cultural) world received an unexpected visit from Miss Rona. As acrobats, the art and culture sector turned inside out while doing somersaults from the gap they were in, as the organization itself says. Flexibility is, therefore, probably the word of 2020 when it comes to entrepreneurship and makers. Together with this indispensable sector, the organization still wants to close 2020 beautifully and culturally. That is why stadvanmakers.nl, in collaboration with various creative and cultural partners such as Factorium, Cinecitta, Bibliotheek de Lochal, Fontys Hogeschool voor de Kunsten, de Nieuwe Vorst, Hall of Fame, Theaters Tilburg: T*AGENCY, and Ateliers Tilburg are organizing a free, online culture night for all art and culture lovers on Friday 18 December 2020.
The slogan of the event is 'creativity doesn't go in lockdown.' And this is what the organization wants to make clear and show through the event. You can enjoy concerts, dance and theater performances, open studios, and exhibitions at unique locations in the city during the Tilburg Culture Night in previous years. This year, however, the organization has to be flexible and give a twist to the event. The idea to cancel it didn't come into their heads, so they decided to develop an appropriate solution. The Culture Night will take place entirely online on Friday. During the Culture Night, you can expect (live) performances from different locations in Tilburg. Visitors can click through to the stage they want to 'visit'. Tune in for a beautiful dance show, see a painting appear, or enjoy a great concert from your living room while sipping warm chocolate on your couch or maybe a red wine.
Several great artists are already known. The pre-party is hosted from 14:00 to 19:00 by Fontys Hogeschool voor de Kunsten (De Nacht Overdagt). Several students will show their work. After that, the official program will start at 19:00 hours. Factorium Tilburg is Friday the HQ of Culture Night 2020. From this location, the evening will be presented, and special guests will be received. There will also be live performances, there will be Culture reporters, there will be cool give away actions, and there will be more information about the program.
