Oatmeal with baked bananas and Greek yoghurt

Breakfast time! After getting evening meal inspiration two times, it's now time for your breakfast. The ideal time to give a good start to your day. And it doesn't have to be boring. Go into the kitchen and take just a little longer. Today we give you the recipe for oatmeal with fried banana and Greek yoghurt. You can make this for less than €2 per person. 

INGREDIENTS FOR 4 PERSONS

  • 200 g oatmeal
  • 500 ml semi-skimmed milk
  • 500 ml Greek yoghurt
  • 4 bananas
  • 500 ml water
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 8 tablespoons honey 
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Salt

PREPARATION METHOD

  • Take a medium-sized pan and put it on low to medium heat.
  • Put 200g of oatmeal, 500ml of semi-skimmed milk, 500ml of water, a teaspoon of cinnamon and a pinch of salt in the pan.
  • Stir frequently for 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Take a medium-sized frying pan and put it on high heat.
  • Heat some butter in that pan and then add banana slices. 
  • Fry the bananas lightly brown on both sides.
  • Add the honey and immediately remove the pan from the heat.
  • When the oats are cooked and have absorbed most of the moisture, put them in a bowl.
  • Top each bowl with some spots of banana and as much Greek yoghurt as you like.
  • Enjoy right away.
