Marketing Event

Are you interested in marketing or would you like to learn more about the field of marketing? Then make sure to block the evening of May 11 in your agenda, because the Marketing Event of 2021 will take place then! This is an annual symposium organized by study association Asset | Marketing. This year's event is dedicated to the theme "Marketing in times of crisis". During the event, several companies will share their experiences with this theme. Afterwards, all attending students will get the opportunity to speak to the companies during a networking drink. This is the perfect opportunity to ask your remaining questions or to gain valuable connections for your (future) career!

This year, four companies will speak at the Marketing Event. First of all, L'Oréal: a global leader in the cosmetics business. With their 27 brands, they deal with different consumer needs every day. Second, GOODZO will speak at the Marketing Event. GOODZO helps other companies feel comfortable in the ever-changing world of IT. During the event, they will discuss how they stayed connected to their customers, even during the Corona crisis. NN Group is also participating in the Marketing Event. NN Group is a financial services company with more than 17 million customers. Two former trainees from NN Group will tell us more about preparing marketing campaigns in an uncertain world due to the Corona crisis. Finally, Cloetta will also speak at the Marketing Event. Cloetta is known for its candy, chocolate, nuts, fudge, nougat, pastilles, chewing gum and pick and mix concepts. The parent company of brands such as Red Band, Venco and Sportlife will tell us more about the marketing dilemmas behind the Red Band brand during the Marketing Event.

Due to COVID-19, the event takes place online this year. However, we have made sure to make this edition one to remember by partnering up with a company specialized in online events. This means that the Marketing Event will be streamed live from a studio, in a talk show-like matter. Under the lead of the chairman of the day Edwin Blok – van Enck, the speakers will tell you all about their experiences with Marketing in times of crisis. The chairman of the day will also make sure that all the questions you send in during the presentations will be discussed.
