On Tuesday July 5, from 11:00-12:15, Student Career Services organizes a webinar about PhD for all students of Tilburg University.
The first half hour will be a general session where Academic transfer will provide you with more information about, among other things:
- What is a PhD? (definition, core activities and salary indication)
- Why doing a PhD in NL? (Dutch specifics and info about world ranking)
- Where to find PhD positions?
- How to prepare for a PhD? (CV & personal pitch tips)
- Career perspective (transferable skills & career tools for after the PhD)
In de second part of the webinar we will split up in groups per school where you get specific information obout the process of becoming a PhD'er within your school, amongst other things:
