Mind & Business Fair
Young people who dream of owning their own business have worked hard over the past 12 weeks to shape their own business. They participated in the Mind & Business project of youth work R-Newt, Next Up and Weave the Fabric of Society.
With great pride, they will show at the concluding Business Fair on 14 December what they have learnt and how they are now moving forward.
About Mind & Business
Entrepreneurship is top-class sport. You go for it, you have only one goal in mind and nobody can stop you. But how do you make sure your business actually gets off the ground? And most importantly: how do you keep taking good care of yourself? Over 12 weeks, the 16 start-up entrepreneurs worked hard to shape their business. Step by step, they learned how the world of entrepreneurship works and focused on themselves and their dream. They took master classes from established Tilburg entrepreneurs and learned the tricks of the trade.

From DJ to beauty specialist
Businesses started include a nanny service, event agency, DJ, car dealership, beau-tysalon and concept development. "I found it super exciting to showcase myself and my business, but it was hugely educational. The past few weeks have brought a lot. I am completely turned on by it," said an en-thousiastic participant.
Come and support on 14 December
The closing Business Fair will take place on Thursday 14 December at Sparrenhof (Bredaseweg 530, Tilburg). Everyone is welcome from 19.00 to 21.00 to support the start-ups, get inspired and network. Admission is free.
